Medication Assisted Treatment
Providing medication assisted treatment for the treatment of Alcohol use Disorder (AUD) and Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) with FDA approved medications such as Disulfiram, Acamprosate, and Naltrexone for AUD and Suboxone and Naltrexone/Vivitrol for OUD. Other off-label treatments for cannabis use disorder, stimulant use disorder, and other illicit substance use disorder are available.
Dual Diagnosis
Approximately 50% of Substance Use Disorder (SUDs) are diagnosed with mental health illness and approximately 30% of people with a mental health illness are diagnosed with an SUD. Treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders will ultimately lead to a higher abstinence and reduce the risk of relapse.
